Dustin holds a Bachelor of Science in Instrumental Music Education (K-12), Bachelor of Music in Saxophone Performance, and has taught for three years in the public schools. In high school, Dustin earned three perfect 40 scores for his performances in solo/small ensemble contest and was accepted to play in the Minnesota All-State Jazz Band. He has played saxophone, flute, and clarinet professionally for two years on a cruise ship in the Caribbean, in addition to playing other instruments in many other venues. In his experience playing professionally, Dustin has had the privilege to play with many world-renown musicians, including: Doc Severinson, Phil Woods, Regina Carter, Bobby Arvon, Greg Bissonette, Will Kennedy, and Terri Lyne Carrington.
