Hi, my name is Ruby and I am a sophomore at UC Berkeley! I have been playing music for ten years, performing on cello and ukulele within pit bands, orchestras, and nonprofit events. My musical influences include Jacqueline du Pré, Elliott Smith, and the Beatles. My teaching style can best be described as patient and encouraging, as I believe that students require uplifting and calming motivation to thrive as musicians. In my lessons, you can expect to learn proper technique, basic music theory, fundamental exercises, and your favorite songs!
