Hi, my name is Erick and I am a guitarist from Winston-Salem, NC. I have been a student of music for 15 years. My musical influences come from a classical background and I also enjoy spanish, blues, jazz music and I love to improvise. My teaching style can best be described as honest and detailed oriented but tailored to each student individual goals. In my lessons, you can expect to learn chords, music theory, how to read music, how to sight-read, improvise, and how to play your favorite song. I like to tell my students that frustration means your growing and with consistency and patience you'll see just how much you've grown musically over our time together. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing my students develop musically and perform their work. I primarily teach guitar, and ukulele but I can also teach bass and piano.
