Lavestia began singing professionally at the age of 14. Over the years, she developed her skills further by performing with bands in Memphis, TN. She gained performance experience from performing world wide by playing at such venues as the Bottom Line Club, Osaka Japan, Holiday Inn Entertainment Circuit, Provinces of Canada, various U. S. Cities and states with acts such as Al Green, J Blackfoot, Ebonee Webb Band, Life Band, Wishful Thinking Band, Daybreak Band various venues such as the Sweet Soul Music Festival in Poretta, Italy, the Montruex Jazz Festival, Geneva Switzerland, venues in London England, Paris France, Germany, Scotland, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Amsterdam, Brazil and many more. Though Lavestia can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are Diana Ross, Gloria Estefan, Chaka Khan, Arether Franklin, Marlena Shaw, Dolly Parton, Bonnie Raitt, Billie Holiday, Roberta Martin, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, and many more which had great influence on her style of singing. Lavestia loves music because it's her passion and gift and loves teaching vocals because she wants to see others master their gift.
