Hi there! My name is Evan, and I am a recent graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy where I studied violin for 2 years. I’ve played for a total of 11 years now, and I have loved being able to share my expertise with students of my own for 3 years. My music journey has brought me to be a part of incredible performances and travel to amazing places. In 2023, I was a member of the National Youth Orchestra NYO2 and performed in Carnegie Hall, and traveled to the Dominican Republic for a 3 concert tour. Earlier this year, I traveled with a group of Interlochen students to Tuscany, Italy where I performed 2 concerts of chamber and solo music. I will also travel to Bosnia this summer to be a part of the Music&More Summerfest, where before I will compete as a finalist in the Grand Teton Music Festival Scholarship Competion. I adapt all my lessons to the individual, meeting each student where they're at, and adjusting my teaching based on what goals each student wants to reach on violin. I have been left great reviews from all of my students, and have been highly recommended. I would love to teach you and help to inspire and push you to new heights in your violin skills.

I graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy in 2025 — I studied violin performance for 2 years there, and I plan on continuing my violin studies at ASU in the fall.
Private Education:
My teachers include Jennifer DePaolo, and Ara Sarkissian. I’ve also participated in masterclasses with Jennifer Koh, Hagar Shaham, and Philip Setzer.
Performing Experience:
I have several years of experience performing solo, chamber, and orchestral works. Major performances include playing Carnegie Hall with NYO2 in 2023 and subsequently touring to the Dominican Republic to perform a 3 concert series. I was also a part of the Interlochen Symphony Orchestra and have performed several major pieces in the repertoire, and I have been part of multiple world premiers with pieces by Mary Watkins, Patrice Rushen, and Bill Banfield. I have also performed in Siena, Italy in a program of solo and chamber music where I performed the principal violin part of Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto no. 4. Other highlights include performing Vivaldi’s Spring as soloist with the Casper College Chamber Orchestra.
Experience Teaching:
I first began teaching with the nonprofit organization, The DoReMi project. I volunteered my time to offer free violin lessons to elementary-middle school aged students. I gained invaluable experience teaching through DoReMi, and now offer lessons to students of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. I have several adult students from absolute beginner to lifelong players looking to level up. I also have extensive experience working with younger students, and teach several a week.
