Kaylen has always loved music from an early age. She began singing before she could speak and continued her education by studying vocal music education at Union University where she obtained her BM in Music Education. Her biggest musical influence is her high school choir teacher, who inspired her to get into the classroom .Kaylen's favorite thing about music is that everyone connects with it in a special way and her favorite thing about teaching music is seeing students develop confidence and understanding of something they love. One of her favorite teaching experiences was taking a choir to perform in Carnegie Hall in NYC, being a 2-time TPAC award nominated music director of musical theater productions, and having a private voice student be selected to perform at the Jimmy Awards in NYC this year!
