I started singing & playing guitar in mariachi at the age of 14. I gained about 10 years of performance experience in mariachi by playing at all sorts of venues for quinces, weddings, birthdays, rosaries, etc. Though I can teach many different genres of music, my personal favorites are mariachi, alternative rock and pop. I love music because it’s always been my safe place where I can be myself and cover songs that have meaning to me. I love teaching music because I enjoy inspiring students with things I’ve learned along my journey in performing.
