Hello! My name is MacKenzie and I have been singing for as long as I can remember. When I was growing up we had a rule: "no singing at the dinner table!" I started formal training at the age of 10 and continued this through college. My favorite thing about teaching music is how interactive it is and seeing the "switch" in a student understanding and feeling the improvement of their own musical ability. In my lessons you can expect an integration of music theory, aural skills, basic piano, and voice. I look forward to getting to know various students and learning about their specific goals, interests, and learning style!
