What to expect in my Keyboard and Piano Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

Customized piano lessons. I will apply music theory, technique exercises, tempo, rhythm, ear and singing training while learning the piano pieces. I like to combine different learning skills which helps the student engage, concentrate more and make them use both sides of their hemisphere brain. I always start with classical training and combine popular repertoire. I will give them homework practice and keep track of their developmental training. I use a token/point systems which works well with younger students. I always try to make my classes fun and creative to prevent a school/boring feeling. I present different challenges levels for the student to interact but in a fun way. I like to keep a fresh, relax but professional feeling during the classroom and make them feel confident even if they make mistakes. As an experienced Special Needs Teacher, I always teach with positive reinforcement, visual, colorful aid materials and instill confidence in themselves.

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

I always connect with my students, starting from their "inner self", asking them to first reset their minds, in order to relax, eventually leading them to learn about self-confidence, about who they really are as artist, how unique their talent is, learn about their strengths and avoiding their weaknesses, learn about conscious behavior and emotional control for stage performance. Expect them to learn how to control their human voice while applying singing techniques, warm-ups, etc. I also apply acting/performance techniques, ear training, imagination and studying skills when learning a piece. All of my lessons are customized based on the student needs and levels of study. My lessons are creative, energetic and interactive as needed. I see my work as a vocation. My mission is to inspire them with confidence, discipline, motivation, to always believe in them self and to provide them with the enough knowledge and tools about their instrument, from the personal to professional level until they feel ready to conquer the world.
